What is the limit of our capability to heal ourselves?

Betsy: "Can't we trust that we can be healed of all defects - no matter what condition ails us - if only we surrender to the healer within?"

Anonymous:  For example, one who falls sick (even Buddha became sick and died) will know how to receive and transform that pain and anguish into non-suffering and compassion. One no longer grasps at the concept of an ideal healthy body, for we all know that that does not exist in the relative world.

I agree in so far that moving along on this path of healing one's personality, one becomes much better at transforming pain, or better said: letting it go. When one releases pain being held in either the mental, emotional or body, that is being 'held by the personality', then this energy is not lost - it is transformed or released to one's being resulting in a higher state of vibration. One can say, one's awareness is increased and one's ability to heal oneself of other kinds of pain as well. How can one know the limit if one is not 100% aware?

What I am observing in the last 9 weeks is a real ability to heal my body - it is happening. What I thought were birth defects (maybe they were), are being healed. I will detail this later when I have time to write it up. Many insights are coming to me about healing over the last 4 months, yet also I know my personality is still intact. So I could be 'for sure' be fantasizing that more is possible that what is. I take the warnings *here* and keep my feet on the ground.

Yet, I won't limit myself to the existing knowledge base of the 'mass consciousness' on this planet. I like to push the frontier and question the existing, this is part of one's growing awareness. I have had enough experiences in this lifetime to realize that most people hardly ever question things, and when something new is presented to them that shakes their current belief system, then
it is normal that they don't want to know about it. Galileo was a long time ago, yet people still behave the same. (I'm not implying this is anyone on this list...)

We are constantly changing and it looks like we are only starting to touch the tip of our potential. I am convinced there is much more that we are capable of, we only have to realize it.
